As President of Pine Tree Networks, Rob is responsible for the overall operations of the company and each of its business units. Rob has an extraordinary breadth of knowledge in the field of telephony with over 28 years of industry experience. His career began in 1973 with New England Telephone Company, and he has worked with independent telephone companies since 1980. Most Recently, Rob served as Operations Manager of Saco River Telegraph and Telephone Company. Regional trade associations have chosen him to lead many initiatives, including a recent appointment to represent New England on USTA's Network Evolution Subcommittee. Rob is also a Past President of the Telephone Association of Maine.

As CFO of Pine Tree Networks, Ed is responsible for financial planning, control and reporting; regulatory issues and tariff management; and customer billing and care. Ed has held a variety of finance positions, including C.F.O. of a regional airline charter company and C.F.O. of a real estate development and management firm. Prior to Pine Tree, Ed was President and Owner of Northern Capital Corporation. Ed attended the University of Maine where he received a Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting.

As Senior Operations Director, Dan leads our Network Operations, Customer Operations and Engineering departments in their day-to-day functions as well as long term planning. Dan brings over 32 years of telecommunications experience to Pine Tree Networks. Most recently he was employed as the Senior Network Operations Manager for RCN Telecom. Dan has an Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University.

A 29-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Bob is responsible for network wide, technology integration that is focused on providing a feature rich, extremely reliable, customer driven, infrastructure. Bob develops capital budgets for all Pine Tree Networks properties and is responsible for tracking expenditures and meeting or exceeding financial goals and expectations. He has served positions at Standish Telephone, Contel, GTE, Northland Telephone before accepting a position with Pine Tree Networks. He is active in regional trade associations, served as the Vice Chairman of the Telephone Association of New England's Regional Services Advisory Committee. He holds an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology from Southern Maine Technical College.

In his role as Director of Network Operations, Brian is responsible for installation and repair service, network maintenance, and technical support for all Pine Tree Networks customers. Brian came to Pine Tree Networks with ten years of telecommunications experience, including recent positions as Operations Manager in Maine and New Hampshire for Conversent Communications as well as Switch Manager for WorldCom in Portland. A 4 year US Army veteran, Brian received extensive technical training at Fort Gordon Signal School.

Barbara brings over 12 years of human resources experience to Pine Tree Networks. Barbara is responsible for personnel and human resources management throughout the company. She serves as Chair of the TANE HR/Safety Committee and is an active member of the local Optimist Club, the Gray-New Gloucester Business Association and the Human Resources Society of Southern Maine. Prior to beginning her tenure at Pine Tree Networks, she held positions in Finance and Human Resources for National Semiconductor and GH Bass. Barbara has a B.S. in Accounting from Husson College and an A.S. in Business Administration from Andover College.

Trevor brings over 13 years of management experience to Pine Tree Networks. He is responsible for managing all aspects of marketing, sales and product development in Pine Tree Networks' rural telephone company markets, as well as business development for the wholesale division. Prior to joining Pine Tree, Trevor was Retail Market Manager at Maine Wireless, a cellular service company. Trevor has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine.

Carol is responsible for the implementation of new projects and ensuring process compliance. Carol began her career at Pine Tree Networks over 17 years ago as a Customer Service Representative and quickly move into management, her last position being Director of Customer Operations. She has extensive training in CLEC operations and is the key behind Pine Tree Networks' success in getting customers switched from other LEC's to Pine Tree Networks. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Maine at Orono.

Scott is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Construction Department, Outside Plant Engineering Department and the installation and repair technicians who deliver dial tone and Internet access to our customers as well as maintaining and repairing the cable and wires that those services are delivered on. In his 14 years with Pine Tree Networks, Scott has held positions as lineman, Installation and Repair Technician as well as Outside Plant Engineer. Scott also serves as Safety Coordinator for Pine Tree Networks. Scott trained in Electronics and Management in the Maine Air National Guard. He is now retired from the Guard after 22 years of service.

With over 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Scott is responsible for maintenance of the Central Offices and switches, CLEC operations and Data Network Engineering. Scott also works closely with our CLEC sales team providing technical support for their sales opportunities. Prior to joining Pine Tree Networks, Scott gathered experience in telecommunications with other companies working on telephone systems and more recently in the CLEC industry. Scott has an Associates Degree in Business from the University of Southern Maine.

As NOC Supervisor, Jim is responsible for the day to day operations of the Technical Support and Dispatch Departments. Technical Support monitors the entire Broadband Network and provides support to our Broadband customers in Maine, Massachusetts and West Virginia. Dispatch assists customers with repair issues and scheduling the Technicians. Jim began his career with Pine Tree Networks in 1999, where he held various positions as a Repair Clerk, Outside Plant Combo Technician and most recently a Network Data Technician. Jim holds a Computer Science degree from Andover College.

Michael oversees the operations, capacity planning and engineering for our telephone central offices, including the switches, the remote sites, and transport facilities between offices. He has over 20 years of experience in the communications field, 12 of those in telephony. Prior to joining Pine Tree Networks, Michael was the Senior Telephone Switch Manager for a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) that operates in four states. He graduated from the Center of Degree Studies in Scranton, PA with an AST in Electronics Technology.

In her role as Customer Operations Manager, Mary is responsible for all aspects of customer care and the day-to-day functions of the customer operations department. Prior to joining Pine Tree Networks, Mary worked as a Manager in the Administrative Support Center before being promoted to Quality Analyst for Verizon, Braintree, Massachusetts. Mary has a BS in Business Administration from Jacksonville University, Florida.

Jennifer is responsible for the smooth and efficient delivery of back office services for our Wholesale customers as well as the provisioning of services for our retail CLEC operation. Drawing from over 20 years of Customer Service experience, Jennifer negotiates the complesities of managing multiple relationships with traditional telephone service providers for her customers so that they can focus on growing their business. Jennifer has been with Pine Tree Networks for over 10 years and holds an Associates degree in Accounting from Andover College.

Harry has 30 years of experience in the telecom industry. Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President of AT&T's Local Services Division responsible for developing, directing, and implementing AT&T's local market entry strategy. Harry has extensive operating, marketing, product, and financial experience. He's also managed a business of more than $5 billion, with initiatives that more than doubled its profitability. Additionally, he has managed large work forces in multi-state organizations with multi-million dollar budgets. Harry has a B.Sc. from the United States Military Academy and an M.Sc. from MIT.

Dick has 33 years of telecommunications experience, ranging from operations and engineering to strategic planning and systems planning and implementation. Dick managed the Bellcore division that developed standards and supported rollout of ISDN, SS7, AID, and CLASS. He has extensive CLEC experience, including directing a $500M project to build and deploy CLEC support and a number portability operations system. That project also included the development of a CLEC business plan for an RLEC, including network design and market analysis. At Bell Atlantic, Dick directed the development of the operations portion of its 14 point CLEC checklist. He has a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA and over 100 post-graduate and company training courses in management, telephony, quality, switching, center, and system operations.
